Refund Policy

Refund Policy for LaunchPad by CodeFarm

Thank you for choosing LaunchPad by CodeFarm for your website and app development needs. We are committed to providing high-quality, efficient services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for our subscription-based website and app services, in compliance with Egyptian Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 181 of 2018).

1. Setup Fees (One-Time Payment)

  • The one-time Setup Fee covers the initial design, development, configuration, and deployment of your website or app.
  • Refund Eligibility for Setup Fee:
    • You may request a partial refund of 75% of the Setup Fee if you cancel your order within 14 days of the initial subscription date AND before the website/app has been officially launched/deployed live.
    • No Refund for Setup Fee After 14 Days or Launch: Once 14 days have passed from the initial subscription, or once your website/app has been officially launched/deployed, the Setup Fee becomes non-refundable, as it fully compensates for the resources, labor, and expertise involved in the initial build.

2. Monthly Subscription Fees

  • Refund Eligibility for First Month’s Subscription: If you cancel your subscription within 14 days of the initial subscription date, a full refund of the first month’s subscription fee will be issued.
  • No Refunds for Partial Months (After Initial 14 Days): Beyond the initial 14-day period, our subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. We do not offer refunds or pro-rated refunds for partial months of service if you cancel part-way through a billing cycle. You will retain access to the service until the end of your current paid billing period.
  • Future Cancellations: To avoid future charges, you must cancel your subscription before your next billing date. Instructions for cancellation are available in your client dashboard under the “Subscription Management” section for each website.
  • Service Downgrades: If you downgrade your plan, the new pricing will take effect from your next billing cycle. No refunds will be issued for the difference in price for the current billing period.

3. Add-ons (One-Time & Recurring)

  • One-Time Add-ons: Payments for one-time add-ons (e.g., specific custom software development, additional initial products beyond the plan limit) are generally non-refundable once the service has been rendered or the development work for the add-on has commenced.
  • Recurring Add-ons: Add-ons that add to your monthly subscription (e.g., extra content hours, the Starship App monthly fee) are subject to the same monthly subscription refund policy (full refund if cancelled within the first 14 days of purchase of the add-on, otherwise no partial month refunds; cancel before next billing date to avoid future charges).

4. Service Interruption / Breach of Terms by LaunchPad by CodeFarm

  • In the unlikely event that LaunchPad by CodeFarm fails to deliver the contracted services for an extended period due to our fault (and not due to client non-cooperation or external factors beyond our control), and after reasonable attempts to resolve the issue, a pro-rated refund for the affected service period may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

5. Grounds for Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Cancellation due to changes in your business direction or personal preferences after the eligible refund period has passed or service has been delivered.
  • Dissatisfaction with design elements or features that were explicitly approved by the client during the development process.
  • Non-cooperation from the client in providing necessary content or feedback, leading to project delays or inability to complete the project within the agreed timeframe.
  • Termination of service due to your breach of our Terms and Conditions.
  • Requests made outside the specified refund eligibility periods.

6. How to Request a Refund (if eligible)

All refund requests will be reviewed and processed in accordance with this policy and Egyptian law.

7. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, specifically Law No. 181 of 2018 (Consumer Protection Law) where applicable to services.
